Remote Access
Sun has been saying "The Network is the Computer" already years back when Sun was founded. It is cool to work for a company which had such a vision which became reality. There are so many thing which prove that it is reality today.
One are the services we provide for demo purpose of Sun and Partner products and solutions.

But we want to take the chance to tell you also on our "landing page" some things which we think are really highlights for you.
First - the SSC Munich is focusing on Technology Briefings, Proof-of-Concepts and Remote Demos.
Especially the last mentionend was implemented by using several Sun technolgies which also could help you.
Think about it - what is necessary to have a Demo presentable everywhere on the world (internet access required).
Obviouse - you need a desktop - independend because sometimes you have the chance to bring your equipment and connect it to customers or partners network and sometimes customers or partners don't like to add equipment to their network.
So we build an infrastructure based on the Sun Virtual Desktop Infrastructure[3] - it gives our colleagues and partners the possiblity to use a Ultra Thin Client called Sun Ray[4] as a desktop with which they then can connect to the SSC Munich infrastructure hosting their individual desktopsession - or if they just have the possibilty to use a PC (Windows/Linux/MacOS/Solaris) - then they can use Sun Secure Global Desktop[5] for it.
They can even transfer their desktop from a PC to a Sun Ray or the other way round.
